Adelaide is South Australia’s biggest coffee and food culture hub. There are always places to go, food to try; if you love food and are up for trying new things, this tour is the one for you.

On this tour, you will visit four to five establishments and learn more about what makes them the gems of Adelaide’s food culture. Experience a wide range of flavours that embodies their creator’s passion and philosophy.

You’ll be able to see Adelaide from an intimate, local perspective as the proprietors from the various establishments share their stories and passion with you.

There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it. A sit-down break is offered in between.

The tour price covers all food tastings. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available.

If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

Very well done. I have lived in Adelaide for 40 years and didn't know about any of the locations. A super day, especially for non-Adelaide guests. Thank you

Fantastic food tour! At first before booking I was a tad skeptical, with the thought being "why can't we just visit a few new places ourselves, without a tour?". But there are no regrets from me or the hubby! There was so much information shared about the restaurants and locations, things I never know and I've lived in Adelaide my entire life! All 5 places were new to us, and all 5 we will visit again, as well as recommending to others. Our tour guide Gemma was a delight; so friendly and approachable. You can tell she has a true passion for sharing, very approachable and knowledgeable. There was just the right amount of walking in between each stop, and the right amount of food to taste. This tour was great to not only learn about the secret food of Adelaide, but also the secrets that lie in Adelaide's city!

Gemma is a fantastic guide and there was a great variety of secret places, food, drink and history on this tour. The private tour was a fun alternative to a regular birthday lunch with friends.

We really enjoyed our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had done plenty of research about each venue and city landmarks. We were so lucky to have a sunny day and the walking was pleasant. It was great to learn about new venues to visit and the philosophy of the owners. Enjoyed the food and drinks offered but would have preferred less deep fried food. A nice way for tourists and locals to discover hidden gems. We would definitely recommend this tour

We enjoyed the Secret Foodi Tour, especially stops 1, 2 & 5 (no names so it remains sectet for future groups!). Venue 2 was excellent for owner participation - and a wealth of knowledge of his business and those who supply it, was passionately imparted. Gemma is an informative guide and we appreciated the extra historical info she slipped in along the route about buildings and businesses which were not part of the tour. Well done.

My husband and I really enjoyed the event. We have not done one before so did not know what to expect. We liked the food of course but to go to places we did not know of and to hear some of the history of the area was really good as well. Each place we went to was different so to sample the different types of food and drink made it very interesting. Our favourite stop was the coffee and tea where we bought up big and have been enjoying our purchase since we came home. Thank you Gemma for an informative and very enjoyable day.
