Known for its rich diversity, Melbourne has become a culinary hotspot.
Time: Saturdays 3pm (Advertised dates only)
Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Corner of Elizabeth St and Little Lonsdale St, CBD.
As the list of places to eat continually evolves, both travellers and locals alike have countless shops, bars, restaurants and cafes to explore.
To steer you in the right direction, Foodi will guide you to a variety of hand-picked venues where you will find your new favourite places to eat and be entertained.
And for those of you who enjoy the thrill of walking through Melbourne’s bustling laneways, these are also on the agenda, along with a lesser-known route to uncover some hidden gems.
Not only will you taste food samples at each stop via share platters (both savoury and sweet), but your friendly host will also share the venue’s history, as well as snippets of information about the city as you pass by. The walk also visits the historic GPO building.
This tour will finish in walking distance of CBD public transport hubs, for convenience and ease, especially if you've enjoyed a few bevvies on tour (drinks can be purchased at your own expense).
There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
Vegetarian options are available on this tour but not all venues can cater for all dietary requirements, so please advise dietary requirements at the time of booking. This tour is not suitable for persons under the age of 18 years, as most of our venues have licensed bars.
Refund Policy: Full refunds given with 5 days notice.
Dates can be changed with 3 days notice.
Terms and Conditions: Please be advised that although we make every effort to ensure that we accurately represent Foodi's service and products, venues are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to make changes to all samples on tours.
