Special afternoon 2pm tours Sept-Oct Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Pirie Street
If you and your friends have an insatiable sweet tooth and are stuck on new places to go, look no further than this dessert walking tour. Adelaide is full of delicious and exciting dessert discoveries, and Foodi will take you around to some of the best.
Desserts embody their creatorís story, and each story enriches the tasterís experience. At each of the four venues on the day, youíll have the opportunity to talk to the people who work there. They'll tell you more about the history of each dessert, how it is made, and what sort of ingredients are used.
This tour is three hours of sugary goodness. There is also the opportunity to sample all kinds of desserts at each of the venues, so come prepared to try some delectable treats on the day.
You will visit four venues around the city, with a break towards the end. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all dessert tastings on the day. This tour is not dairy or gluten free.
If youíre looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

Rachel was really nice and knew a lot about the venues and Adelaide and that made it more enjoyable. She told us fun facts along the way and made the walks interesting. 4/5 by Nellie Carter 14-10-2017

Great we had a venue issue and Anita and Laura did their best to ensure we still got an amazing tour despite the hiccup. They came up with alternatives and didn't just leave us hanging :). 5/5 by Jack Simmonds 16-7-2017
Had a fantastic time and Laura was very knowledgeable. 5/5 by Cassandra Morris 2-7-2017
Nice to start with a coffee and a cupcake and good to walk between venues better than staying put for a high tea at one venue Liked the informative commentary 4/5 by Evita Alberts 19-6-2017
Rosie was a very good and animated host. The selection of venues was well thought out with different food offerings at each venue. Very enjoyable! 4/5 by Glenda Attenborough 18-6-2017
My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. It was good to visit venues that we had never been to before and learn some of the history of the buildings and the city. You don't tend to be a tourist in your own town, so it was great. Beautiful weather made it that much better. 5/5 by Karen Bamford 7-6-2017
The tour guide was so informative and a bucket load of knowkedge 5/5 by Laurie and Wynn Farrugia 4-6-2017
I thought that the tour was great. The four places that we went to were all wonderful and I liked how they were all either South Australian started businesses or owned by South Australians. 5/5 by Sarah Schultz 4-6-2017
It was a really good and informative day. It offered a lot more than you expected. Rosie was a wonderful host and made the day much more enjoyable. 5/5 by Danielle Perfect 15-5-2017
Very much enjoyed this day! Great food and lovely tour guide. 5/5 by Giuseppina Russo 14-5-2017
I liked this event as it was the first we had been on. It was a beautiful day. There were definite positives. I would rate the aspects of visiting establishments that used local products highly. We also visited places that I had not seen previously. San Churros and Scroll were the favourites for our group of 4. 4/5 by Marthessa Azzopardi 14-5-2017
Loved the variety of venues & foods chosen. Wonderful Rosie was thoroughly entertaining, knowledgeable and very caring of her group. She encouraged interaction between the group members and that added to the thoroughly enjoyable experience. Foodie tours have never let us down!!! We recommend them to all our friends, and love buying gift vouchers to give away as presents. Solves the 'what do I give them?' dilemma so easily 🙂 5/5 by Christine Phillis 13-5-2017
