Cinnamon is a bare-brick, rustic, yet charming little cafe in Wapping, five minutes from Tobacco Dock.

It’s quiet and, although small, it’s perfectly formed. I spent a morning here waiting for my friend to arrive the other day and it was great to eavesdrop on conversations, read the morning paper, and sip my mug of green tea.
The tea variety, unfortunately, is not a wide one, but it’s their coffee and cake that do well. Countless customers who either sat inside or, for the most part, had coffee to go, ordered a latte, espresso, or an Americano.

I didn’t think coffee was as big in the UK as elsewhere like Europe, but clearly it’s a winner.
Cinnamon is ideal for a quick coffee, or sit with a few friends – because the tables are scant and space is limited. It’s definitely somewhere to read the morning papers, or enjoy a catch up with a bestie.
