Perth is home to some amazing chocolatiers. Whether you’re a visitor to the city, currently hosting visitors, or simply looking for something to do on the weekend, this three-hour tour of Perth’s best chocolatiers is a fun, exciting and delicious event to put on your to-do list.
This tour is a chance to discover some of these chocolatiers and gain insight into their craft. You’ll learn about how chocolate is produced, from a bean on the cacao tree through to the hands of the chocolate makers; and the terminology used by industry experts to describe the taste, smell, and forms of chocolate.
You’ll be able to sample the chocolates at each venue you visit, where you will also learn the elements of a proper chocolate tasting; the different cacao percentages, and how they affect the taste. Discounts on purchases are also available at a number of the venues.
You will visit a number of venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all chocolate tastings on the day. This tour cannot accommodate vegan dietary and is not gluten or dairy free.
If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, to meet new people, and discover new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

I'm glad you sent this as I was going to contact you anyway. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the rain was not even a problem! Annie was so knowledgeable about the city and chocolate, it made the walk even more enjoyable. I'm not a "Perthite" but learned things about some of the old buildings, so again, thanks very much Annie. 5/5 by Denise Donald 30-7-2017
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Saw parts of the city we never normally visit, learned things I never new about Perth and also chocolate! All of the tastings and chocolate were great. Found some of the new eat-and-drinkeries around Perth. Sue Lewis choc absolutely delicious, plus she was informative and interesting. Enjoyed morning tea at Koko Black. Nice mix of places we knew about and some we hadn't discovered. Anni included info on the city and buildings - a great advocate for Perth. 4/5 by Jan Ruscoe 30-7-2017
It was a gift from my daughters for my sister and I and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Our group was only 5 plus Annie, our guide, so I think it was better than a bigger group. Annie was fantastic - very interesting facts on buildings in Perth, her travels and hikes in NZ, and chocolate. Apart from one venue I had been to just days prior for the first time, I didn't know the others existed! 5/5 by Denise Hoskin 17-7-2017
Loved it....totally chocolated out!

Very enjoyable morning walking through the city exploring new venues and sampling plenty of chocolate. Particularly enjoyed our first stop, very informative.
Will certainly look at your other tours. 4/5 by Michelle Duffield 1-7-2017
My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. The visit to Sue Lewis was the highlight while the visits to Guylian and Koko Black were also excellent. We felt the tour could have finished after the morning tea and the subsequent two venues were unnecessary. Overall, excellent tour and we would recommend to our friends. 5/5 by Patrick Clohessy 19-6-2017

The tour was fabulous. Our guide Annie knew so much about the city and showed us some great places to eat and drink along the way. The chocolate tempering demonstration and talk from Sue at Sue Walker handmade chocolate was really interesting and tasty. The other stops for coffee and chocolate tastings were also great. I recommend this to locals as well as visitors to Perth. 5/5 by Barbara Donelan 11-3-2017
