The beautiful city of Adelaide is home to some of the countryís best chocolatiers. Whether youíre a visitor to the city, currently hosting visitors, or simply looking for something to do on the weekend, this three-hour tour of Adelaideís best chocolatiers is a fun, exciting and delicious event to put on your to-do list.

This tour is a chance to discover some of these chocolatiers and gain insight into their craft. Youíll learn about how chocolate is produced, from a bean on the cacao tree through to the hands of the chocolate makers; and the terminology used by industry experts to describe the taste, smell, and forms of chocolate.

Youíll be able to sample the chocolates as you go and learn the elements of a proper chocolate tasting. Youíll also learn about the different cacao percentages, and how they affect the taste. Discounts on purchases are also available at a number of the venues.

You will visit a number of venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.

The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all chocolate tastings on the day.

Please note: This tour can accommodate Coeliac/gluten-free requirements on request, but cannot accommodate dairy-free requirements. Please advise your dietary requirements when booking.

You can view a video of this tour on Channel Seven's SA Life.

A good fun event, despite poor weather. The length was right, quantity and variety of stores were good and host (Sinead) was excellent. We also thought it was excellent value for money... Highly recommended!

Our tour guide was amazing, I loved how she gave us history about the area and pointed out things that I have never noticed before. There was not too much walking, and a big break in the middle. The chocolate was incredible as well!! Thoroughly recommend

The guide was good and knew her information about Adelaide, the first three places we entered were excellent, the last two??? standing outside the premises to receive a piece of choc was disappointing

This was a very enjoyable morning for my friend and I celebrating her birthday! Sinead was a very pleasant and knowledgeable host who timed the tour extremely well. After almost 45 years in Adelaide I was surprised to learn several new things about the city thanks to Sinead's great knowledge and Iíd recommend her and the experience highly to my friends.
