Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Adelaide CBD

Craft beers have always been a big part of Australian culture. You can learn a lot about your city just by visiting establishments selling craft beers and discovering their stories.

Your host will take you to a number of historical pubs and breweries. You will learn about the history of beer itself, how it is brewed, why it has become such a significant part of Australian culture, and how this has all come to contribute to the growing interest in craft beers. There will be food options and beer samples available at select venues on the day.

There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.

All participants must be over 18 years of age.

If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

It was great fun and Laura was both enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the subject of beer. Will definitely do this again!

Lauren did a great job and the venues visited were nice also. our group had one non beer drinker and it was great that one venue made an offer of another drink

Laura was very good. Here tour knowledge was great but her own personal slant on the tour and personality made it something else.

Laura's knowledge was large and diverse and she was able to educate me in different aspects of beer tasting. It was helpful to separate the flavour/bitter/alcohol. And to try gas versus vacuum pull delivery systems. More impressive were her people wrangling skills. She led and guided the group well and kept us on track in a friendly and competent manner. It was an excellent tour. I particularly like ending up in place Is had never heard of before.

I enjoyed this tour. A lot of beer tasted in a relatively short time. Some venues better than others and made more of an effort to cater for the group.
