Craft beers have always been a big part of Australian culture. You can learn a lot about your city just by visiting establishments selling craft beers and discovering their stories.

Your host will take you to a number of historical pubs and breweries. You will learn about the history of beer itself, how it is brewed, why it has become such a significant part of Australian culture, and how this has all come to contribute to the growing interest in craft beers.

There will be food options and beer samples available at select venues on the day, with the opportunity to purchase additional food and drink.

There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.

All participants must be over 18 years of age.

If youre looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, a Foodi tour will show you where to start.

Spent a great 3 and a bit hours in the company of guide Yolanda and 15 other beerophiles (including my neighbour for whom I bought this as a birthday present) touring round 4 venues in Adelaide. Sampled a lot more beers than I expected along with some pizzas and other nibbles. Discovered some fabulous new drinking spots and loved the emphasis on SA products. Everyone the tour was there for a good time - there was lots of knowledgeable exchanges and a great time was had by all. Highly recommended.

The host was excellent and the people in the tour were great as there was a good cross section. The barman at the Cooper Ale House was excellent

It was a great way to see our own backyard and enjoy some of what SA has to offer

Something different, well organised and not the usual drunken scenes as at the McLaren Vale wine festival last year (Not part of Foodi). Nice small crowd, and Yolanda kept everyone on track. The barmen at the venues were also great. Timing was excellent without queues, not rushed, and some food thrown into the bargain! Perhaps the Royal Wedding kept the crowds away -- to our advantage.

Very friendly, passionate tour guide. A great way to spend time in our own city and learning more about SA craft beers. Fab way to sample a range of beers without paying for s full glass!

Well constructed 3-hour tour taking in 4 diverse (traditional and modern) locations around the CBD. Although the focus was on the modern craft beer tasting experience, we also had the opportunity to sample a range of South Australian traditional Cooper's beers .. definitely recommend this tour for both locals and visitors!

Craft Beer Walking Tour - Adl. An excellent tour with a friendly, knowledgable guide. Very good value for money with fantastic venues visited & welcoming hosts. We had a private tour and, as we all knew each other, we got a bit roudy with lots of laughter, but Yolande would keep us on track and on time. Would definitely book again (were booking the spirit tour this week) and highly recommend to friends & colleagues.

I purchased this as a present for my Uncles 60th Birthday. We had an absolute ball. Our group were a great bunch of people, the pubs were very welcoming, and Laura was just fabulous. Id totally recommend this walk to anyone who remotely like a beer.
