Wine is steeped in culture and history, and South Australia boasts some of the country’s finest vineyards. If you fancy yourself a bit of a connoisseur of wine, or are looking to expand your knowledge, then why not come along and explore Adelaide’s vibrant wine bar scene?
On this tour, you will visit four establishments, chosen for their historical significance and contribution to South Australia’s wine history, and listen to their fascinating stories. You’ll learn more about South Australian wine and take a rare tour both under and above ground dating back to the beginning of South Australia’s history.
There is also the opportunity to taste wine with expert commentary at a number of the venues, and you will be able to purchase samples at a discounted price from the other establishments. Nibbles will be provided.
There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
Tour price includes light nibbles and wine samples at certain venues. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

It was great fun. Met some lovely people and our tour guide Jo was great. Jo had great knowledge of the places we went and even of places that we walked past that weren't part of the tour. 5/5 by Sue Wooldridge 4-2-2017
Jo, our guide, was excellent. She told us about history, wine and posed us a couple of tricky questions which got the group working together. Great choice of venues. I particularly liked the fact that personnel at the venues spoke to us passionately about their wine with the tastings. Well done all round, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. 5/5 by Sue Harrington 30-1-2017
