Time: Fortnightly, Saturday 10am
Duration: 2.5 hours
Meeting Point: Melbourne Town Hall Entrance
Foodi have gathered the various high tea elements in Melbourne to bring you a high tea experience with a difference.
You will visit venues that showcase finger foods, teas, and desserts. Guests will also discover the history behind the array of food items offered, and the various establishments themselves.
This is high tea with an unconventional twist. Like the tiers of a high tea, each venue you visit will showcase one component of a high tea. By the end of the tour, you will have pieced together the crucial elements of high tea through samples and tastings offered on the day.
You will visit five different venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all tastings on the day. Sparkling wine will be made available for purchase at the last venue which will not be included in the tour price.
If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, to meet new people, and discover new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.
