When it comes to food, Adelaide does not joke around. The city is home to a rich and diverse food culture: hidden bars, restaurants tucked away from sight, and cutting edge cafes, and this tour will introduce you to the cream of the crop.
On this tour, you’ll be taken around to several different venues and will learn more about Adelaide’s after-dark food culture from your host.
You’ll have the opportunity to talk to the owners of the various cafes and restaurants and some of the locals, and see for yourself just how passionate they are about their work.
There will be an opportunity to sample food and purchase drinks from the venues.
You will visit several venues around the city, with a sit-down break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price covers all food samples, and is not suitable for vegetarians, gluten or dairy free customers.
If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

Such a great way to experience the hidden secrets in Adelaide. Anita was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. It was great to experience a range of foods. 5/5 by Katie Venaglia 11-12-2016
We enjoyed the experience very much 5/5 by Roger Hoare 27-11-2016
An excellent event as it gave us an opportunity to experience many different types/styles of foods during the night as well as to meet new people and enjoy their company. Most restaurant were new ventures so was good publicity for them also. As tourists to Adelaide we probably would not have found some of the places that Anita had selected for us all to visit. For locals the experience gave them a future opportunity to return to, in most cases, new restaurants. 5/5 by Elisabeth Moore 16-11-2016

Establishments were fantastic. One though, the Indian restaurant didn't seem to be aware of or prepared for us.
Overall a great experience as way to see parts of the city I may not have found. Quality of food was excellent. 4/5 by Vanessa Mallett 24-10-2016
The Night Safari was excellent! All venues had wonderful atmosphere, great food and plenty of it, and Anita was a perfect host, knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. I will definitely be returning to the venues and exploring more of their menus, and recommending the tour to friends. 5/5 by Sandra Hart 12-10-2016
Had a fantastic time with Anita and a big group of fellow food lovers. We visited a variety of locations all with different cuisines. I was impressed by the amount of food we were given and my appetite was certainly satisfied. I will definitely be revisiting a few of the places. Very enjoyable! 5/5 by Kathryn Lymn 10-10-2016
I enjoyed it. Great to go to places I hadn't heard of. The food was great. Anita was a good host too. 5/5 by Mark Hurcombe 9-10-2016
All the venues were excellent fantastic food 5/5 by Debra Bentley 9-10-2016
Anita was a wonderful person and guide, very chatty and informative and spent time with everyone equally. Of the 5 venues we visited 1 was disorganised and not expecting us. I would not go back to this venue and the food was forgettable. But the other 4 were great and we would definitely return and recommend them to others. 4/5 by Leigh Pomario 4-10-2016

Lucky enough to get a private safari as we were the only ones booked on the Saturday night we chose. Great to have both Danielle and Anita as hosts who both shared great knowledge of Adelaide food sprinkled with some historical facts about the buildings and streets we walked. Every venue was great as was the selected food and the walking in between was perfect to keep the appetite up for the next stop. Looking forward to revisiting some on the hidden gems that were shared with us, and searching out others we didnt get to. Thanks for a great evening. Steve and Jacqui. 5/5 by Steve 26-8-2016
Enjoyed doing something different and trying new things. Liked that it involves different restaurants with varied cuisines. Favourites were Vietnamese and Spanish both for atmosphere and food. Next two lacked atmosphere. 4/5 by Lee Ritchie 7-8-2016
We all had a really good time. Anita is very warm and friendly although hard to hear at times. But importantly she took us to nice venues and showd us some hidden secrets in our own city. well done 4/5 by Nathan McKay 25-7-2016
Loved every moment of it. Only thing negative was the short amount of time spent at each restaurant plus the short distance between each destination. Other than that, I had a fantastic time. Also a big shout out to Sue and Shaun ( Adelaide ) for putting me under their wings, and showing a first time visitor around, after the Safari. Hugs and Kisses Deborah (Brisbane) 5/5 by Deborah Harney 21-7-2016
I lived that we were taken to places that I wouldn't even think to try and like the idea of a walking tour. Our host Anita had a good knowledge of the food & background into the venues we visited. 5/5 by Bec Schell 4-7-2016

We went to a wide range of restaurants. Most I'd never been to before, despite living in Adelaide for 20 years. Anita was very friendly, funny and organised and made the evening even more enjoyable. 5/5 by Ashleigh 13-6-2016
The host Anita was lovely and very friendly. She had a lot of knowledge of the places we went to and wanted to share this information with everyone on the tour. She also made an effort to get to know us on the tour and ensured we had a great time. 4/5 by Abbey Taylor 13-6-2016
It was great. We discovered some wonderful restaurants that we had no idea were even there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!. Kudos to our fantastic tour guide Anita who made sure we were well looked after in each venue. 5/5 by Elle Coughlan 13-6-2016
