Time: Saturday 3pm
Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Corner of Elizabeth St and Little Lonsdale St, CBD.
There are over 140 different cultures represented in Melbourne, which makes this city a culinary hotspot.
As the list of places to eat continually evolves, both travellers and locals alike have countless shops, bars, restaurants and cafes to explore.
To steer you in the right direction, Foodi will guide you around a variety of hand-picked venues where you will find your new favourite places to eat, drink and be entertained.
And for those of you who enjoy the thrill of walking through Melbourne’s bustling laneways, these are also on the agenda, along with a lesser-known route to uncover an unknown dining scene.
Not only will you taste samples at each stop, but your friendly host will also share the venue’s history, as well as snippets of information about the city as you pass by. The walk also travels through China Town between venues.
This tour will finish in walking distance of both Flinders Street and Melbourne Central stations for those catching public transport.
There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
Vegetarian options are available but this tour is not gluten, vegan, nut or dairy free.
Refund Policy: Full refunds given with 5 days notice. Dates can be changed with 3 days notice.
Please be advised that although we make every effort to ensure that we accurately represent Foodi's service and products, venues are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to make changes to all samples on tours.
Chris was a fun and funky, fantastic tour guide. We found fab places and laneways that we would never have found on our own. The last night had a very loud band playing but Foodi were not to know that. 4/5 by Robyn Smillie 17-10-2016
We really loved Elena! The tour showed us places we never could have found on our own! All four places were unique, with amazingly delicious food. More importantly, each restaurant had a rich history. The walks to get to each place was full of art or interesting facts.

Had a great time and Epsy was a knowledgeable host and kept us all interested both food wise and with historical information during our walk. Thank you. Spent too long and waited too long for food at Mamas Buoy though. 4/5 by Peter 26-4-2016

Good selection of locations and duration. One place, Fonda, was a little bit far to walk for some of the group, however it was a good pace and the laneway we were walking on was quite interesting 4/5 by Elena Tan 13-3-2016

Good Food. Good Fun and a very pleasant day. Brooke was charming and very personable. Food was unusual and a real eye opener. Good thing it was a mild day however, as I wouldn't want to do it on a scorcher. 4/5 by Miriam Lucas 17-1-2016
