Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Pirie Street
If you and your friends have an insatiable sweet tooth and are stuck on new places to go, look no further than this dessert walking tour. Adelaide is full of delicious and exciting dessert discoveries, and Foodi will take you around to some of the best.
Desserts embody their creatorís story, and each story enriches the tasterís experience. At each of the four venues on the day, youíll have the opportunity to talk to the people who work there. They'll tell you more about the history of each dessert, how it is made, and what sort of ingredients are used.
This tour is three hours of sugary goodness. There is also the opportunity to sample all kinds of desserts at each of the venues, so come prepared to try some delectable treats on the day.
You will visit four venues around the city, with a break towards the end. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all dessert tastings on the day. This tour is not dairy or gluten free.
If youíre looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

Rosie our host was really great, shared a lot of history about Adelide that we did not know in spite of living here for 51 years. The cakes, desserts, coffee and ice cream were great too. Thank you for a very enjoyable 3 hours. 5/5 by Marion Stanford 19-6-2016

Visiting specifically SA owned venues and one Australian venue really impressed me and great for our state. I enjoyed hearing the background behind each place we visited and how these businesses support other countries via business plans and how they source their ingredients locally.
It was a great morning out and about, I had a family member and a lifelong friend share this experience with me.
The only venue that I didn't really enjoy was our last stop on rundle street - these cakes looked amazing but for me didn't have the wow factor I anticipated.
All in all a good experience, host Rosie was very bubbly and engaging. 4/5 by Courtney Rosewarne 8-5-2016
I thought it was absolutely amazing and I loved the information about the city and the stores. Maybe renaming it to just simply a dessert tour would be more accurate because I kind of figured cupcakes would be the focus of everything. 5/5 by Andrew Pudney 8-5-2016
