Brewing a beer is a craft, one that many have struggled to learn. A good brew produces a beer with unique characteristics and notes that distinguish it from the rest of the market. This is a chance to see for yourself how craft beer has flourished in recent years.
This tour will take you around to three different pubs around Caxton Street, known for the craft beers they brew on site. You’ll have the opportunity to sample the beers they have on tap, learn about the brewing process and meet the owners of each establishment. Throughout the course of the day, you’ll learn how these pubs and their beers have made their mark on the city and contributed to craft beer’s increasing popularity.
You’ll also have the opportunity to sample craft beers from the venues, and learn how each is made and how these affect its characteristics.
There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it. Tour price includes beer samples. No food is included in the ticket price. All participants must be over 18 years of age and bookings are essential.
If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

Great experience, Excellent host. Great locations. 5/5 by John Bordin 10-12-2016
Our host really made the tour, his knowledge was fantastic and perfectly timed and not over the top. 5/5 by Jayme Lowe 27-11-2016
A very enjoyable event. Our host Kyla was lovely and mixed with everyone so the whole group felt included. The tour is a great way to interact with people you have never met before and even find out what you may have in common to discuss apart from the great beers we got to sample. For instance :- I was at one time (many years ago) in the army catering corp. and one of the girls on the tour is currently in the AACC so we had things to discuss. Another lady on the tour went to Primary & High School at Eight Mile Plains & Rochedale which is where I have lived for many years so we too had things in common. Great beers, great host, friendly people in the group so what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I would definitely recommend this tour to others. 5/5 by John Reese 30-10-2016

Fun and informative. David has perfect big booming voice for all to hear. He ensured everyone in the group learned about beer, had a great time but also got to know each other. 4/5 by Linda Christie 30-9-2016
A very nice way to spend an afternoon. Dave our guide was excellent and was a big factor in making the tour a success. All the tour participants were great company and though I'm only a casual beer drinker most brews were quite palatable with a couple of exceptions. At least I now know what to avoid. 5/5 by Rob Masefield 25-9-2016
Well executed event. Good to meet some new people and a little bit of brisbane history along the way. /5 by Rob Masefield 25-9-2016

This was one of the best tours my husband and I have done in Australia. Dave, our tour leader, was a fountain of knowledge about the craft beers. We had so much fun and highly recommend this tour. Awesome afternoon of laughs and great craft beer! Thanks for a great afternoon Dave! 5/5 by Leisa Holliday 29-8-2016
Impressed with the tour guide, David. He was welcoming of everyone and mixed with all participants throughout the three hour event. Appreciated the inclusion of some history about the grounds around Suncorp Stadium and the nearby cemetery. Have done other brewery tours but found David's explanation of the brewing process and necessary ingredients, one of the simplest and easiest to understand. Venues visited were all interesting and unique in both the style and variety of beers offered. Bar staff who presented were friendly and knowledgeable. As a bonus we actually got to meet and speak with the actual beer maker at our final venue, Brewski. Outstanding luck! Thought the size of the group, 7, was ideal. Would not recommend going higher than 10 for any future tours. Overall an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Brisbane. 4/5 by Deb Porter 31-7-2016
