Duration: 2.5-3 hours
Meeting Point: Martin Place, Sydney
Sydney’s food culture is constantly evolving. There are always new restaurants opening or another cafe hiding in the recesses of this busy city. It is also home to some of the best chocolatiers in the country, ready for you to discover them.
This tour is a chance to discover some of Sydney’s best chocolatiers, right in the heart of the CBD. You’ll learn about how chocolate is produced, from a bean on the cacao tree through to the hands of the chocolate makers; and the terminology used by industry experts to describe the taste, smell, and forms of chocolate.
You’ll be able to sample the chocolates at each venue you visit, where you will also learn how the different cacao percentages affect the taste of the chocolate.
You will visit five to six venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all chocolate tastings on the day. This tour is not gluten or dairy free.
If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meet new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.
You can also take a Self-Guided version of this tour, if you would prefer to do it in your own time and at your own pace.

Loved it. The relaxed pace of the tour was lovely as it gave me time to see a bit more if Sydney that I don't always have time to take in. The number of stops was great. Just enough chocolate and choice for purchases. Our tour guide was excellent. She couldn't have been better. So friendly, informative, helpful and just a lovely person all round. 5/5 by Ian and Lynne Wing 16-4-2016

A fun and interesting tour, my very first time of Chocolate walking experience so had a fabulous time! Kanika was a lovely guide with lots of enthusiasm, friendly, attentive and passionate about chocolates. Very well presented, also suggested some great samples to try. Loved how each venue gave their sharing of historical background and personal preference to the selection of chocolates too. A sit down break was another great way to enjoy a cuppa and get to know others. Overall, really liked the boutique stores visited, now discovered the many excellent venues offering delicious tastings and gained educational insights to how chocolates are made. Thank you! Highly recommendable for chocolate lovers!! 5/5 by Esther Ly 26-11-2015
Lovely leader. NIce walk. 4/5 by Kathy Pritchard 23-11-2015
Outstanding tour during which we visited a number of spectacular chocolate shops. Time allocated was sufficient and involved pleasant, but not to long walks, which were easy enough for my heavily pregnant fiancée to complete. Kanika is an outstanding leader, she has a passion for chocolate and was a big factor in the success of this tour. Highly recommended. 5/5 by Peter 23-11-2015
