Sydney’s food culture is constantly evolving. There are always new restaurants opening or another cafe hiding in the recesses of this busy city. It is also home to some of the best chocolatiers in the country, ready for you to discover them.

This tour is a chance to discover some of Sydney’s best chocolatiers, right in the heart of the CBD. You’ll learn about how chocolate is produced, from a bean on the cacao tree through to the hands of the chocolate makers; and the terminology used by industry experts to describe the taste, smell, and forms of chocolate.

You’ll be able to sample the chocolates at each venue you visit, where you will also learn how the different cacao percentages affect the taste of the chocolate.

You will visit a variety of venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.

The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all chocolate tastings on the day. This tour is not gluten or dairy free.

If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meet new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

Fantastic! It's great to have the knowledge of a local to find those out of the way boutique stores that we would otherwise have missed.

Tracy-Ann is a great host, personable and great to talk to. She explained the itinerary from the beginning well, including toilet stops. The chocolate stores introduced were top quality stores, tastings were reasonable in quantity. Good spread of locations around the city. Good introduction to different stores. Priced reasonably for what is offered. I would recommend this tour to my friends.

Tracy-Ann is an excellent tour guide. My mum had difficulty catching up with the walking speed of the group and Tracy-Ann made the effort to keep a look out for us, making sure that we won't get lost.
