Chocolate has never been better.

Time: Fortnightly, Saturday 10:00am
Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Forrest Place

Perth is home to some amazing chocolatiers. Whether you’re a visitor to the city, currently hosting visitors, or simply looking for something to do on the weekend, this three-hour tour of Perth’s best chocolatiers is a fun, exciting and delicious event to put on your to-do list.

This tour is a chance to discover some of these chocolatiers and gain insight into their craft. You’ll learn about how chocolate is produced, from a bean on the cacao tree through to the hands of the chocolate makers; and the terminology used by industry experts to describe the taste, smell, and forms of chocolate.

You’ll be able to sample the chocolates at each venue you visit, where you will also learn the elements of a proper chocolate tasting; the different cacao percentages, and how they affect the taste. Discounts on purchases are also available at a number of the venues.

You will visit a number of venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.

The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all chocolate tastings on the day. This tour is not gluten or dairy free.

If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, to meet new people, and discover new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. The visit to Sue Lewis was the highlight while the visits to Guylian and Koko Black were also excellent. We felt the tour could have finished after the morning tea and the subsequent two venues were unnecessary. Overall, excellent tour and we would recommend to our friends.

The tour was fabulous. Our guide Annie knew so much about the city and showed us some great places to eat and drink along the way. The chocolate tempering demonstration and talk from Sue at Sue Walker handmade chocolate was really interesting and tasty. The other stops for coffee and chocolate tastings were also great. I recommend this to locals as well as visitors to Perth.

Ruth was great. Friendly relaxed and great as a guide. Venues were brilliant, and we loved finding out the historic details of the places she took us as we walked around. This is our second tour with you and will be looking to do another tour. Thanks for a great day

Annie was an excellent tour guide who was very informative and extremely helpful in ensuring our stay in beautiful Perth was memorable and showing us places that the locals don't even know about. Thank you! Bobbie and Arndrae Adelaide

Much beyond expectations. Thanks to Annie's knowledge and people-skills the morning was enjoyable and enlightening. Just the right amount of walking with the great little break for coffee in a lovely company. Well done!

Really good event. I liked that we also did a mini tour of Perth as we went between chocolate places. Unfortunately we had a group of people who didn't seem too interested in the tour - late arriving and walked very slow between our stops, which meant we had to wait for them. I think it made it hard for Annie as she had to wait for them before she could talk about something.

A fantastic tour. Annie was an amazing tour guide - so interesting and informed. I've lived in Perth for years and learnt so many new things about the city from Annie. All the places we visited were 5Star and the service - the best. I throughly recommend this tour for locals and tourists.

Well worth the money. The highlight was the visit to Sue Lewis. Koko Black should make it interesting like she did! Anne pointed out and brought us to so many alleyways which we have never heard of. Will definitely visit them again.
