Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Forrest Place
Perth is home to some amazing chocolatiers. Whether you’re a visitor to the city, currently hosting visitors, or simply looking for something to do on the weekend, this three-hour tour of Perth’s best chocolatiers is a fun, exciting and delicious event to put on your to-do list.
This tour is a chance to discover some of these chocolatiers and gain insight into their craft. You’ll learn about how chocolate is produced, from a bean on the cacao tree through to the hands of the chocolate makers; and the terminology used by industry experts to describe the taste, smell, and forms of chocolate.
You’ll be able to sample the chocolates at each venue you visit, where you will also learn the elements of a proper chocolate tasting; the different cacao percentages, and how they affect the taste. Discounts on purchases are also available at a number of the venues.
You will visit a number of venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all chocolate tastings on the day. This tour is not gluten or dairy free.
If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, to meet new people, and discover new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

Well worth the money. The highlight was the visit to Sue Lewis. Koko Black should make it interesting like she did!
Anne pointed out and brought us to so many alleyways which we have never heard of. Will definitely visit them again. 5/5 by Rose Poulose-Daniel 7-9-2016
An excellent day out for all of us. I had thought the teenagers might have been a bit bored but they loved it. Annie was a wonderful guide with all sorts of tit bits and information about the city as well as knowing just when to guide and when to step back and let us take it in. The venues she took us to were all completely different, and sue Lewis was a brilliant presenter. 5/5 by Wendy Collier 3-9-2016
Wonderful experience, didn't know Perth had so much to offer!
Annie, our guide, was great. She was interesting and very informative. Loved it! 5/5 by Kylie Rimmer 28-8-2016
There wasn't quite as much chocolate as I expected, although the visit to Sue Lewis was informative, entertaining and the chocolate delicious. The break at Koko was welcome, the chocolates beautiful, but disappointing that they aren't made in Perth. However, the tour of the Perth lanes that Annie provided within the Chocolate Walking Tour was fascinating. This tour within a tour provided me with some insight into Perth history and an appreciation for the work the PCC is doing to bring the lanes to life. 4/5 by Margaret Davidson 28-8-2016

My mum and I loved the tour! Alex was an amazing guide, providing interesting facts about the city. We loved Sue Lewis chocolatier. Not only was it fascinating to watch Sue work but her chocolate was incredible and would definitely go back! We particularly enjoyed the information Alex shared about Perth city, constantly recommending different restaurants and bars. 5/5 by Monique Missak 26-1-2016
