Duration: 3 hours
Meeting Point: Rundle Park
The beautiful city of Adelaide is home to some of the country’s best chocolatiers. Whether you’re a visitor to the city, currently hosting visitors, or simply looking for something to do on the weekend, this three-hour tour of Adelaide’s best chocolatiers is a fun, exciting and delicious event to put on your to-do list.
This tour is a chance to discover some of these chocolatiers and gain insight into their craft. You’ll learn about how chocolate is produced, from a bean on the cacao tree through to the hands of the chocolate makers; and the terminology used by industry experts to describe the taste, smell, and forms of chocolate.
You’ll be able to sample the chocolates as you go and learn the elements of a proper chocolate tasting. You’ll also learn about the different cacao percentages, and how they affect the taste. Discounts on purchases are also available at a number of the venues.
You will visit six venues around the city, with a break in between. There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
The tour price includes the sit-down break, and all chocolate tastings on the day. This tour is not gluten or dairy free.
You can view a video of this tour on Channel Seven's SA Life.

We enjoyed the event - as promised we had our fill of chocolate. The tour guide was very informative and fun - not only were we informed about chocolate but also about little things in Adelaide that we didn't know even being locals. The group itself was fun and everyone interacted well. 5/5 by Anna Forsyth 8-5-2017
I thought the tour was informative and enjoyable 5/5 by Natasha Whitehill 8-5-2017
The event was good, but the chocolates that we tasted were primarily dark chocolate. I don't hate dark chocolate but both my friend and I would definitely have preferred milk or white chocolate. There were no white chocolate tastings and extremely few milk chocolate tasting. 3/5 by Chelsea Milton 4-5-2017
Enjoyed the length of the tour and it was a good balance of walking and sitting. You realize by the end that the taste testers come in just the right amount so you don't feel too sick by the end. 4/5 by Paige Hetherington 3-5-2017
