Craft beers have always been a big part of Australian culture. You can learn a lot about your city just by visiting establishments selling craft beers and discovering their stories.

Your host will take you to a number of historical pubs and breweries. You will learn about the history of beer itself, how it is brewed, why it has become such a significant part of Australian culture, and how this has all come to contribute to the growing interest in craft beers.

There will be food options and beer samples available at select venues on the day.

There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.

All participants must be over 18 years of age.

If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

It was brilliant. A great choice of venues, most of the I had never been to before. All the venues sampled beers I hadn't tried. Very informative and friendly tour guide. A great way to try new beers and meet new people. Loved it. With around 20 samples and a full handle beer included, plus food and all the info, it is great value!
Good Value and a varied and interesting range of beers. Friendly and informative tour guide.

Laura was great, friendly approachable and knowledgeable. I like the way she pointed things out about Adelaide such as street art and regeneration projects. Didn't realize Kings Head was so SA focussed. I really liked the way some places gave food platters. Everyone was generous with the tastings.

One of the most enjoyable tours I have experience. Renee was an excellent host who knew a tonne of interesting information. She had planned a very fun tour that included us tasting a wide range of beer and getting to know a lot about Adelaide and SA as well. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

We really enjoyed the Craft Beer tour, Renee is obviously passionate, knowledgeable and a great host. (I also enjoyed the side information about the projects around the Adelaide laneways!). We are not from Adelaide so it was a fabulous way to learn about local craft beers and attend some pubs that are local institutions but we would never have known about! I bought the ticket as a present for my friend so it was a perfect birthday treat! Loved it!

This tour was an engagement present from my friends to me and my fiance. I was not so sure if I will enjoy it before going there. To be honest, it was one of the amazing tours I have ever been on. Thanks to Renee, she is such an amazing guide and a lovely person. The way whole tour was managed was just perfect. I will definitely recommend my friends to go for it.

I had such a great day at this event. I knew nothing about beer and left with more appreciation for how and why certain beers are crafted the way they were. Ren Nay was so passionate about the topic and this was evident in her explanation of all the beers we tasted as well as insights into the redevelopment of Adelaide culture. I highly recommend this tour.
