Craft beers have always been a big part of Australian culture. You can learn a lot about your city just by visiting establishments selling craft beers and discovering their stories.

Your host will take you to a number of historical pubs and breweries. You will learn about the history of beer itself, how it is brewed, why it has become such a significant part of Australian culture, and how this has all come to contribute to the growing interest in craft beers.

There will be food options and beer samples available at select venues on the day.

There will be some walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.

All participants must be over 18 years of age.

If you’re looking for a few hours of fun on the weekend, meeting new people, and discovering new things about your city, Foodi tours will show you where to start.

We had the best time!!! Laura was an amazing tour guide and the people absolutely lovely on the walking tour. We loved every minute of it. The venues were great and Cooper's Ale House were incredibly generous with the tastings - wonderful all round. Thank you. Pauline

Aside from the fact that I'm a lover of craft beers, the tour was very well presented by the knowledgeable & lovely Laura, the snacks along the way complemented the beers, and, above all, it was really great fun to be a part of a small, animated (read partially inebriated) social group.

Both my partner and I enjoyed the afternoon meeting new people and visiting venues we did not know existed. We will certainly be revisiting some of the venues again. Had an excellent afternoon.

Well organised, interesting with a very pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging host. Great venues that showcased a range of beers and food. I discovered parts of the city that I didn't know existed. A truly memorable experience.

I think the overall event & context of the event were informative & well paced & met my expectations. The 1st 2 locations were very informative & well managed & it was excellent to have nibble food at these 2 sites. The 4th site was a really good feel place but the bar staff were not as engaged in a 'group' scenario. I also think it would be good if nibbles were included at all sites. I know I have suggested a few things but I always believe in highlighting my thoughts as a means of bettering things. I did enjoy the day!

This was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Very generous samples, and a delicious platter at one of the locations! Also really appreciated the guide's obvious enthusiasm for the city of Adelaide, and explanation of things like Renew Adelaide, along with guiding us to some great street art!

It was brilliant. A great choice of venues, most of the I had never been to before. All the venues sampled beers I hadn't tried. Very informative and friendly tour guide. A great way to try new beers and meet new people. Loved it. With around 20 samples and a full handle beer included, plus food and all the info, it is great value!
